Bidding & sale process: The sale format will be an internet auction. You can bid online during the specified sale timeframe of noon and 2p on Friday, June 24. One lot will close every three minutes with a bid extension in place. The bid extension will close the lot after one minute passes without a bid. The sale will continue to close in order regardless of overtime bidding on one or multiple lots. The highest bidder on each closed lot will be the buyer. All bids are in U.S. funds.
This sale will be controlled by an internet auction platform. Ravenna Auction, LLC is not responsible for malfunction or system errors which cause a bid or bidder to fail to be recognized or registered.
All consignments sell with 100% buyer satisfaction. If the buyer does not like the cattle after viewing them and PRIOR TO LOADING at the seller’s farm, they have the option to not take ownership. Once the cattle are loaded and leave the seller’s farm, they are sold on an ‘as is’ basis with no warranty, expressed or implied, and are the property of the buyer. Lots will sell by the head. If other selling terms are used on a lot, it will be listed on that lot description.
Health warranty: Proper health certificates will be provided when required. Any additional testing cost will be the responsibility of the buyer. The results of any future health test(s) is not guaranteed. No lot is warranted to be free of Johnes or any other infectious disease. For animals that travel outside of the state of origin, the buyer will be responsible for the legal importation of cattle into that state; please check requirements prior to the sale.
Payment terms: All cattle must be paid for in full before they are loaded. Payment must be made by a good check or wire transfer to Ravenna Auction, LLC. The buyer will be invoiced for the full amount. Ravenna Auction, LLC will hold the funds until the cattle are loaded. If any difference after loading, the balance will be refunded.
Trucking: Ravenna Auction, LLC will assist with load outs and truck arrangements.
General: It is the intention of the livestock owners and sale management to represent and present these animals in their present condition, however no adjustments will be made after the animals leave the seller’s farm. Cattle that are sold with a natural service date are as accurate as possible, although they are not guaranteed to be exact.
